The right way to use washing detergent begins with first placing the laundry inside your washing machine, and then turning the water on. When the clothes are fully soaked, drizzle a good-quality eco-friendly detergent on your clothes, and let your machine do the rest.

Use the Right Quantity of Detergent

Many people believe that using more detergent would result in better cleaning; however, it doesn’t work like that. Using detergent in excess will create excessive suds that cling on to the dirt and keep it from rinsing away.

Do you recall ever washing a shirt, only to find a brownish dirt line under the collar? Yep, that’s what excessive detergent do to your clothes. To combat this problem, only add half of what you usually use. You may add a little more detergent after one spin, if you feel the clothes are still dirty.
