We also tend to trust the internet with our newly bought clothes—which are often ruined at the end of our little experiments. Some laundry myths have disguised themselves as useful hacks. While others may actually be beneficial in certain contexts—which aren’t, however, always demarcated. The following are some commonly believed myths about laundry: Club Soda Takes Precedence Over Water Many people swear by club soda mixed with salt when it comes to dealing with stains.
